PPS was subcontracted by Icon Construction to complete the hydraulic works for the New Street social housing project in Brighton, an integral part of the Victorian Government’s Ground Lease Model program.

The project features 151 social housing units and 140 market-rate rental properties, all designed with modern, energy-efficient, and accessible features, strategically located near essential transport links and community amenities.

In addition to the residential spaces, the development includes specialist disability accommodation (5% of the total homes), a café, a community pavilion, and beautifully landscaped gardens.

The Ground Lease Model allows the land to remain publicly owned, supporting the creation of sustainable, inclusive housing for the community.

PPS’s hydraulic systems played a key role in ensuring the project’s success, providing reliable infrastructure that contributes to its long-term functionality and liveability.
