PPS was subcontracted by Icon to perform the full scope of hydraulic works for Galkangu – Bendigo GovHub, a groundbreaking four-storey mass timber government office building in regional Victoria.

The development includes a carpark, open-plan offices, and public interface spaces, designed to accommodate at least 1,000 staff and consolidate operations for various governmental agencies, authorities, and local government bodies.

As the first of its kind, the mass timber structure features innovative connection details and required extensive structural and fire testing. The project prioritized sustainability by utilising local timber content and expertise, reducing its carbon footprint while ensuring a successful construction process.

PPS played a vital role in delivering the hydraulic systems that support the functionality and sustainability of this landmark development.
