PPS was subcontracted by Kane Construction to complete the full scope of hydraulic works for this purpose-built facility, located on Wurundjeri land.

Designed to provide a culturally safe and supportive home, the building accommodates 40 students from remote communities in Victoria and the Northern Territory, offering them a nurturing environment to thrive academically and personally.

Guided by Senior Wurundjeri Elder Uncle Colin Hunter, the design incorporates cultural elements that connect students to Country, enriching their learning experience. The three-level facility includes administration spaces, social areas, dormitories with individual study nooks, and gathering zones, all thoughtfully designed to foster both community engagement and individual growth.

PPS’s hydraulic systems played a vital role in supporting the functionality and comfort of this culturally significant project.
